Quick answerA liquid filter bag is a bag of needle-felt polypropylene or nylon mesh that fits a basket inside a bag filter housing and catches solids as liquid flows through from the inside out. Filtsap makes bags from 1 to 200 micron in standard size #1 (7" × 32") and #2, with welded seams, for flows of 12–25 m³/hr per bag.
Welded (not stitched) seams stop bypass through needle holes. The PP or SS ring collar seals against the basket. All bags resist acid, alkali, abrasion and flexing.
