Quick answerA PP filter housing is a pressure vessel moulded from virgin polypropylene that holds one filter cartridge. Filtsap makes 10" and 20" housings for standard 2.5" cartridges and 4" jumbo cartridges, in opaque blue PP and in transparent bodies. Transparent bodies let you see when the cartridge is dirty. They handle up to 8 m³/hr at 70 °C.
Every housing has NPT/BSP threaded ports, a silicone O-ring and a pressure-release button. The lid accepts a pressure gauge. Wall-mount brackets and spanners are included with most models.

Which housing fits a 20" jumbo cartridge?
Our 20" × 4" virgin PP housing (Big Blue type) fits it, with a 1" or 1.5" port.
Can the housing take hot water?
PP housings are rated to 70 °C. For higher temperatures or solvents, use our SS 304/316 housings.
